A few minutes of preparation makes assembly smoother. Run through these checks before you start.
1. Get the Right Manual
Find the model number printed on your shipping box, then download the matching PDF manual from our Installation Guides & Manuals page.
2. Check Every Part
Lay out the parts and check them against the parts list in the manual. If anything is missing or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We ship replacement parts free of charge from our Los Angeles warehouse, and they usually arrive within 3–4 days.
3. Have Your Tools Ready
A wrench is included with your hoop.
4. Set Aside Enough Time
Our 40" to 48" portable hoops take about 90 minutes to assemble, the 30" hoop about 60 minutes, and the pool hoop about 30 minutes.
5. Plan Your Height
Portable hoops adjust over two height ranges: with all pole sections installed, the rim reaches the upper range up to 10 ft; with one section removed, it covers the lower range. If you cannot reach the height you need, add or remove one pole section as shown in your manual.
After Assembly
- Fill the base before you play. See how to fill your hoop base.
- Push-button models: if the adjustment pole feels loose, check that the cross mark on the main pole lines up with the button.
